A short history
Lanka ja Muovi Oy is a family enterprise with long traditions. The roots of our company extend to the year 1955 when our production started simply with whisks manufacturing. When the product range expanded by dish drying racks, we were the first ones in Finland to use polyethylene coating for metal. This insight led to the energetic growth of our company.

The situation today
Today our company is one of the leading manufacturers of plastic coated steel wire products in Finland. Our net sales reach about 4.5 million of euros and there are around 65 employees in our company. Our market segment consists mainly of inland hardware stores, markets, specialised stores for plastic, home furnishing stores, and various industries including industries of kitchen furnishing, furniture, refrigeration equipment, metal, and electronics. Our most notable clients in the international market are from Sweden, Estonia, and Latvia.

The principles of our activity are quality products and customer satisfaction. To enforce this idea, our company follows the quality system based on the ISO 9001 standard.
